In their own words

NR

Nurul Rashidah binti Azmi

Subang Jaya, Selangor

"We had three months of papers piled on a table and no clear sense of what needed to stay and what could go. After the Cabinet Sorting Session, we had three labelled groups and a list of documents to replace. It was exactly what we needed before anything else could happen."

Tan Kok Wei

"My father passed away in April and we had five offices to visit over six weeks. Almonry prepared all five sets for us, with the Mandarin translation already included. We just walked in and handed the package over. That made a genuinely difficult period a little more manageable."

Santhana Pillai

Petaling Jaya, Selangor

"What I appreciated most was how clearly they described what they do and do not do. They flagged two matters that needed a solicitor, explained why, and gave us a sense of what kind of firm to approach. That boundary was respected throughout."

Zulaikha binti Hassan

Shah Alam, Selangor

"We took on the Household Closure Programme because the administrative side of settling my mother's affairs coincided with clearing a house full of forty years of belongings. Having someone who understood both the paperwork and the weight of that period was more helpful than I had expected."

Lee Ming Fong

Klang, Selangor

"The keepsake register was something we had not thought to ask for, but it turned out to be the part that mattered most to the family. Finding my grandmother's correspondence in a labelled folder rather than in a bin bag made a real difference."

Aishah binti Ramli

Puchong, Selangor

"Administrative Set Preparation suited us because we already had a rough sense of what was there — we just could not face preparing the sets ourselves while handling everything else. Having them ready meant we could focus on the appointments rather than the assembly."

How two families moved through the process

Cabinet Sorting + Administrative Set Preparation

A Subang Jaya family with five offices to visit and a house still to clear

The Situation

The family had been managing the estate of their father for two months but had not yet sorted the household's papers. Two siblings were coordinating from different states, and they had received notices from a financial institution, the Land Office and the civil court within the same two-week period.

What We Did

We conducted a Cabinet Sorting Session at the family home, separating papers into the three groups and creating the keepsake register. We then prepared five complete document sets over five weeks, including Bahasa Malaysia translations for two sets and reserve attested copies.

The Outcome

All five appointments were attended within the seven-week scope. One set was retained by an office — the replacement service activated within four days. The keepsake register was taken by the eldest sibling as the definitive record of what the household had held.

"We contacted Almonry when we were already behind. The pace they worked at matched where we were."

Household Closure Programme

A Klang Valley family managing a full household closure over seven months

The Situation

A family of four adult children handling the closure of their mother's house, which had been the family home for thirty-five years. The estate file was active, the house needed to be handed back to a landlord within eight months, and no one in the family had capacity to manage both at once.

What We Did

We ran a full programme over six months. Full document inventory in weeks one and two, sorting through week four, document set preparation over weeks five to ten, correspondence drafting and scheduling support through to month four, and archive establishment in months five and six. Weekly contact throughout the active period, fortnightly afterwards.

The Outcome

The house was handed back on schedule. The family received a printed archive, a digital copy on an encrypted drive, a keepsake register with photographs of family documents, and a correspondence log covering the full period. The closing handover session ran two hours with all four siblings present.

"The archive is something we will keep for a long time. It makes sense of a period that was difficult to hold in one's head."
